Bonjour

Auriez-vous des renseignements sur JOHN EWART décédé en 1810
De Simon EWART (1783-1855) qui a épousé Xénia Guillet de Saint-Amour (1810-1862)

Merci beaucoup

Bonjour Lucie.
Dans quel pays ont-ils vécu?

There's now a Bulletin Board available. It includes a genealogy forum for those interested in that area of research.

Click on the WWW link in the top-right corner of this message.

I will add a proper link from the main website at a later time.

It would be wonderful if you
did create an Ewart genealogy
page. It could help some of us
track our Ewart ancestors from
Scotland and Ireland to America
in the 1700's. Thank you.

I guess it would have to be something more than just a one-name version of something like ROOTSWEB. Much pondering required!

Will try to work out something but it won't be soon. BTW, my son is also named Paul.

My Grandmother was the sister of Robert Ewart's (the marine)mother. I also have the same photo of him as shown on this site and a copy of a letter he wrote before going on his famous mission. His family are certainly very proud of him. My children also know all about him.

Hi Gabriel. I don't know what it might be worth to a collector. If you send me a picture I could show it on the website and someone else may know.

I just got back from a weekend in Edinburgh and can recommend the Ensign Ewart for a drink or three. Cheers!

I found this site a few years back. You've added some new stuff since then.
